The purpose of this research was to study the growth response pokem (Setaria italica), which inoculated by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) from tailings area. method used in a completely randomized design factorial pattern. factors consisted AMF types (M)(M0: non-mycorrhizal, M1: Claroideoglomus etunicatum BGR, M2: C. lamellosum B1107S, M3: L3101D), and inoculum density (I) (I: 5 g, II: 10 g per pot planting media) with 8 replicates. source B1107S L3101D originated gold mining area Timika. results showed that inoculation could increase plant better than BGR B1107S. Significant occurred on parameters height plants, leaf area, dry weight fresh relative rate, phosphorus absorption plants. amount nitrogen tended decrease treatment, but it not significant, whereas K has insiginificantly increased. propagule treatment increased all parameters. best if type media.
